Princeton School Named As Blue Ribbon School By NJ Department Of Education
Despite the federal government's cancellation of the Blue Ribbon Schools recognition program, the NJ DOE announced 11 winners.

PRINCETON, NJ — One Princeton public elementary school received a Blue Ribbon School award, the New Jersey Department of Education(NJDOE) announced on Nov. 5.
Littlebrook School of the Princeton Public School District, at 39 Magnolia Lane, was named among the 11 schools recognized in eight counties for this year.
The U.S. Education Department ended the National Blue Ribbon Schools program on Aug. 29, and as a result, schools that completed the application process for the 2025 award were not publicly announced.

However, the NJDOE recognized the 11 schools as 2025 New Jersey Blue Ribbon schools.
The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program (NBRS) annually honors America’s most successful public and non-public elementary, middle and high schools.

NBRS recognized both schools whose students achieved at very high levels and schools that made significant progress in closing academic achievement gaps among different groups of students.
Each year, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) reviews the data for all public schools in the state and nominates schools that met the eligibility requirements provided by the U.S. Department of Education (USED).
The full list of 11 Blue Ribbon schools for 2024-2025 is:
- Bergen County Technical High School - Teterboro, Bergen County Vocational Technical School District (Bergen County)
- The Elisabeth Morrow School, Englewood (Bergen County)
- Hatikvah International Academy Charter School (Middlesex County)
- Indian Hill School, Holmdel Township School District (Monmouth County)
- Liberty High School, Jersey City Public Schools (Hudson County)
- Littlebrook School, Princeton Public School District (Mercer County)
- Mansion Avenue School, Audubon Public School District (Camden County)
- Our Lady Of Czestochowa, Archdiocese of Newark, Jersey City (Hudson County)
- Ridgewood Avenue School, Glen Ridge Public School District (Essex County)
- Roosevelt School, Lodi School District (Bergen County)
- Ventnor Elementary School, Ventnor City School District (Atlantic County)
