Princeton U. Student Charged With Allegedly Taking Sexually Explicit Photos of Victim
An investigation into an alleged sexual assault continues, police say.

A 20-year-old male Princeton University student has been charged with one count of invasion of privacy after he allegedly took sexually explicit pictures of another male student who fell asleep in a campus dormitory after consuming alcohol.Â
Richard Charles Tuckwell, a permanent citizen of Australia, voluntarily surrendered to Princeton Borough Police on Friday, Sept. 21. He was processed, charged with invasion of privacy (a third degree crime) and released on his own recognizance.

The alleged incident happened on Sunday, Sept. 16. An investigation continues into the allegation of sexual assault.Â
According to the police, Tuckwell and the male victim met at a party on Sept. 16. Later that day, they went to the 1939 dormitory on campus where the victim fell asleep after drinking alcohol.

Tuckwell allegedly took sexually explicit photographs of the victim without consent. The victim allegedly woke up and saw Tuckwell photographing him.
Police say there is no indication at this point that the photographs were distributed to anybody else via electronic means or other method.
