Smoke, Burning Odor In Princeton Due To Canadian Wildfires: Police
Princeton Police issued an alert on Tuesday evening.

PRINCETON, NJ — Smoke from the Canadian wildfires have hit Mercer County, and as a result, the sky over Princeton is hazy, Princeton Police said.
The police department sent an alert to residents on Tuesday evening.
Residents will see a hazy sky and smell an odor of smoke.

Weather officials issued Air Quality Alerts across New Jersey on Tuesday as smoke and haze from ongoing wildfires in Canada lingered in the atmosphere.
This creates unhealthy conditions for sensitive groups during the day and into the evening hours.

"Sensitive individuals, including those with heart or lung disease, the elderly, and the young should limit strenuous activities and the amount of time active outdoors," National Weather Service said.
