His projects in Princeton have included road improvements, Hilltop Skate Park, the Stony Brook bicycle and pedestrian pathways and bridges project and the Mountain Lakes dams rehabilitation and dredging project.

Soriano is leaving to take a job in private industry. It’s an opportunity closer to his home in Raritan Borough and was simply too good of an opportunity to pass up, he said.

He thanked officials on Monday.

“The years here have been amazing and I appreciate the time that I’ve spent with you,” he said.

The resolution concludes:

“…now therefore may it be resolved that the township committee of the township of Princeton, NJ extends its humble expression of esteem to Mr. Soriano who served the township faithfully and professionally and for rendering untiring and valuable service…the Township Committee extends its best wishes to Mr. Soriano for good health, success and prosperity for many years to come.”
