Two Vehicle Accident on Prospect Avenue Sends Three to Hospital

The accident happened on Wednesday at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Cedar Lane.

 

Three people were transported to the hospital on Wednesday after a vehicle drove through a stop sign and broadsided another car, according to Princeton Borough Police.

The accident happened at 11:59 a.m. in the 200 block of Prospect Avenue, said Cptn. Nick Sutter.

Rodrigo Soto, 51, of Princeton was driving a Lexus SUV north on Cedar Lane when he failed to observe a stop sign at Prospect Street and broadsided a Dodge pickup truck driving west on Prospect Street. 

The dodge was driven by Atanacio Perez, 44, of princeton.

Both vehicles careened in a northwest direction and ended up on the lawn of 260 Propsect, Sutter said. 

Soto, his passenger Nancy Lopez, 49, of Princeton, and Perez all complained of neck and back pain. 

Soto was cited for failure to observe a stop sign. 

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
