Water Main Replacement To Begin South Harrison Street In Princeton

It is anticipated that overnight construction will occur for about six to eight weeks.

PRINCETON, NJ —New Jersey American Water (NJAW) will begin construction on its project to replace the water main and individual water services on South Harrison Street between Nassau Street and Hartley Avenue next week.

The work is scheduled to start on or about the week of Nov. 10. NJAW's contractor Alpha Construction will work during the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. to locate individual water services and check the pipe material.

Construction activities will then switch to overnight work (8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Friday) for the water main replacement.

It is anticipated that overnight construction will occur for approximately six to eight weeks.

On the holiday weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, overnight work will only occur Monday and Tuesday nights.
