Princeton Township hosts the 2nd Annual S.H.R.R.E.D.temberfest (open to residents of both the Borough and Township). Shred your personal documents, donate home goods and gently used clothing to Goodwill, recycle electronics, computers, T.V.s etc., dispose of unwanted items. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Â

Princeton Battlefield Society hosts a day of activities, including a children's scavenger hunt, tours of Clarke House and the Battlefield, horseshoe challenge for kids, colonial domestic demonstrations, used book sale and revolutionary war demonstrations. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Â

Fantastic Organic Fun at Whole Foods Market Princeton supports The Whole Kids Foundation mission of ending childhood obesity through healthy eating. There will be are games and prizes, mini kids cooking classes, healthy lunchbox workshops, samples, giveaways, kids' music by Alex, pictures with The Cat In The Hat and more. Jeffrey Eugenides, Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Princeton University creative writing teacher, Princeton resident and best selling of “The Marriage Plot”, speaks at “Beyond Words: An Evening to Benefit Princeton Public Library," followed by dinner. 6 p.m.Â
"Act of Faith," a documentary on one of the first integrated housing developments in Princeton, will be screened at the New Jersey Film Festival at Rutgers University, 7 p.m.Â
Hunt for Ghosts on Princeton Battlefield. This isn't a "jump out and scare you" experience. It's an opportunity on the site of the Battle of Princeton after dark using authentic EMF meters, dowsing rods and therma-meters to investigate. 8 p.m.Â

Princeton Public Library presents the documentary, "Bitter Seeds," which chronicles what happens when farmers from India become part of the worldwide switch to genetically modified seeds. Many get deeply in debt, and are unable to provide for their families. 4 p.m.Â
