Weekend Guide, Apple Days, Honoring Christopher Reeve and More

Friday

 A jukebox spinning 45s will be the centerpiece of this family friendly event. At 9 p.m. the party will become a 21+ only dance party inspired by the music of 1967, the year the ACP was founded. Enjoy food and drinks and dance the night away 7 p.m. 

“When It Happens to You,” at Princeton Public Library. The book interweaves eight stories, all with a theme of betrayal. Tickets are $25 and include a copy of “When It Happens to You.” Register at http://mollyatppl.eventbrite.com/. 7 p.m. 

 at Princeton University's . The concert will feature works by Bach, Schubert, Mozart, Haydn and Schubert. Call University Ticketing at 609-258-9220 for free tickets, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday

to benefit the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, 10 a.m.  

Apple Days at Terhune Orchards. Enjoy food, live music wagon rides, pony rides, face painting, pumpkin painting, make your own scarecrow, a corn stalk maze and more. Also, pick your own apples and pumpkins. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The TEMPOraries band will perform. Volunteers will grill and serve hamburgers and hot dogs. There will also be a roast pig, salads, and beer and wine for adults. 3-6 p.m.

marks the 60th Anniversary of Christopher Reeve's birth with movie screenings hosted by Barbara Johnson, Reeve's mother. The 1 p.m. screening is of the mystery, “Deathtrap,” which features Michael Caine and Reeve along with Dyan Cannon and Irene Worth.  At 3:30 p.m., the romantic film co-starring Jane Seymour “Somewhere in Time” will be screened. Community Room.
