Ramsey Environmental Commission/Green Team to host toy drive   As part of its Sustainable Jersey work, the Ramsey Environmental Commission/Green Team is hosting a plastic toy drive at the Farmers’ Market on Sunday, November 14th, from 9 a.m. to noon.  They are working in conjunction with Second Chance Toys, a non-profit which operates with the goal to “rescue and recycle” plastic toys for children in need.  Each plastic toy collected means one plastic object kept out of a landfill, and one more toy for a needy child.  The plastic toys should be clean, be in working order, and have no missing or small parts. If the toy requires batteries, it’s best to include fresh batteries. Green Team member Jeff Kehoe brought the toy drive to the attention of the Ramsey group.
