GMM Habitat ReStore Announces Clothing Donation Fundraiser

All proceeds from the donations collected will go directly to the ReStore. Clothing donations will be distributed to third-world countries.

The Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore is excited to partner with NJ Clothing Drive, the fundraising arm of Millenium International Textile, Inc., as part of the fundraising efforts via the clothing from donation bins located at 274 South Salem Street in Randolph, N.J. All proceeds from the donations collected will go directly to the ReStore. Clothing donations will be distributed to third-world countries in dire need such as parts of Africa and Central America. Nothing is shredded and 100% goes to people in need.

Donations accepted include:

--clothing of any size (no winter clothing)

--shoes of any size (no winter boots or high heels)

--accessories such as purses, belts, hats, caps, backpacks

--toys: stuffed and hard toys 14 inches or smaller

--linens

Everything should be in usable condition—no stained or torn items. It is preferred that donors utilize white 13-gallon kitchen trash bags—no boxes or loose items. If using large, black bags, only fill them halfway.

Additionally, the ReStore is now accepting clothing donations all year long (including winter items) which become available for sale to shoppers. Items accepted include clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children.
