​Local Sports Club Celebrates Notable 2022 Season and Upcoming 2023

January 22, 2023 Roxbury, NJ – After a very successful 2022, the Swim and Sport Club (SSC) Fistball Club located at 272 Emmans Rd is gearing up for an exciting 2023.

For 2022 the SSC athletes were successful in many milestones. They were represented on both the Men's and Women's 2022 USA National Teams, playing at The World Games (Birmingham, AL) and the Pan American Fistball Games (Novo Humburgo, Brazil).

The SSC Men's Team won the USA Club Nationals and also came home with the Bronze medal
at the Pan Am Games. Additionally, as members of the USA National Team, they earned a spot
for the 2023 Men's World Championship.

Looking at 2023, the SSC Fistball Club will hold home tournaments in Roxbury Township, but
also travel to Philadelphia and Wisconsin. Including the USA Club Nationals being held in
Wisconsin July 1-2, 2023.
The club also anticipates that several of the SSC Men's players will be trying out for spots on the 2023 USA National Team for the 2023 Men's World Championship in Manheim, Germany.

In August 2023 all eligible teams of all ages will be traveling to Jona, Switzerland for their
European Club Competition. This annual competition is a highlight of European Club Fistball and
a great opportunity for Youth, Men’s, and Women’s teams to get competition experience.
As the SSC continues to foster and grow its fistball program, they welcome any newcomers to
give it a try.
