Students Begin 'Assassin' Game With Water Guns Around Randolph Township

Police said they have been getting calls for suspicious people or vehicles, which turned out to be students playing the game.

RANDOLPH, NJ — Randolph Police gave residents a heads-up that high school seniors have begun the "water wars" or "assassins" game again around the township with water guns.

The decades-old game, played annually by graduating seniors, sometimes involves students wearing ski masks and hiding out to try and surprise one another with a water gun spray.

Seniors compete to be the last person standing — while their classmates try to tag them with a water gun.
