Randolph Roadway To Close For Months: See Where

The road could be closed until October, according to municipal officials.

Randolph, NJ — A road in Randolph is going to be closed for "an extended period," according to the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority.

Officials announced yesterday that Pleasant Hill Road, on the border of Chester Township, will be closed for several months for construction.

The announcement also applies to Ironia Road, which is what the roadway is called in Chester.

According to the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority, the construction is for a 24-inch water main replacement project.

There is detour signage currently displayed in the area. According to officials, the suggested detour is to "utilize Pleasant Hill Road into Roxbury Township, making a right onto Eyland Avenue, out to Route 10."
