'Dog Days of Summer' Coming Soon
It's what's going on in the Red Bank-Shrewsbury area this week.

Good morning Red Bank-Shrewsbury area friends and fans! I hope you all had a good weekend.
If not, you'll still have a chance to spend time out and about, because the weather is supposed to be nice all week. Yup, that's what the weather troll, uh, that is, very nice National Weather Service tells us — mild temperatures and lower humidity.
Well, last week there were some significant arrests in the area, sidewalk sales, the Red Bank Farmers Market and more.
There was a lot more to check out. Click here if you missed anything. All last week's top stories are set there. All you need to do is scroll and click on them.
This week …
Well, this week Red Bank is going to the dogs with its first Dog Days of Summer on Monmouth Street Tuesday night. We figure it'll be something to howl over, so we'll be there. There are no noteworthy meetings, so we'll be filling you in with some news updates, features and business stories.
We will also be looking into some more fun throwbacks, like the one we had on Sun Ray Drug Co. And there are the usual meal deals.
Don't forget to dine out for Lunch Break on Wednesday. Check the announcement on redbank.patch.com for more details of which restaurants are participating. And, get your garden goods over to the organization's headquarters to ensure that those in need are getting some good, fresh summer veggies.
If we missed anything, let us know. In the meantime, see you around the towns …
