Free Film Series For Black History Month At Basie Cinemas, Red Bank

Films continue this Sunday at the Red Bank movie venue with "The Wiz" and "Dear White People."

RED BANK, NJ — A free film series at Basie Center Cinemas is underway as the Count Basie Center for the Arts recognizes Black History Month.

The Basie Center Cinemas are at 36 White St. Free, advance tickets are required and are available at www.basiecentercinemas.org.

The Basie Center Cinemas said it will host free community film screenings throughout Black History Month.

Interested patrons must reserve their free tickets online at www.basiecentercinemas.org or after 12 p.m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays at the Basie Center Cinemas box office, 36 White St.
