Pump Testing in Red Bank Tuesday Night

Red Bank officials would like to remind residents and business owners that fire pump testing will be conducted at the Red Bank Armory, 76 Chestnut Street Tuesday night between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.

The work, checking pump operation and performance, is mandated by state statute —  NJ Uniform Fire Code, N.J.A.C. 5:70, according to an announcement on the borough's website by John Drucker, Fire Protection subcode official. 

Drucker says he anticipates that the work will be completed by 1 a.m. rather than 2.
