Red Bank Borough employee George P. "Frenchy" Geraud, of Sea Bright, died on Saturday, July 20, at 64.
Geraud, who was born in France, was raised in the Red Bank area, graduated from Ocean Township High School and was a Red Bank Borough employee. Known as a generous, well-liked man of many talents, "Frenchy" was also known someone who always made himself available to those in need, according to legacy.com.
He predeceased by his son, Matthew and is survived by his wife and son, Judy and Justin.
He is also survived by: his brother, Jean Claude Geraud, and wife Jean; his brother-in-law, Robert Bonin, and wife Renee; his sister-in-law, Sandra Bonin Forlini; mother-in-law, June Bonin, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Barnabus Hospice, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch, NJ 07740.
