RED BANK, NJ — Red Bank Borough's National Night Out has been postponed due to possible severe thunderstorms, Red Bank Police announced Monday afternoon.

According to weather forecasters, heavy storms and flooding are expected throughout New Jersey this week as Hurricane Debby moves north. On Tuesday night (when National Night Out is scheduled to take place), forecasters are calling for likely showers and a possible thunderstorm in Central Jersey.

Red Bank's National Night Out will now take place on Tuesday, August 13, according to officials.

Red Bank Police are asking attendees to bring canned food items or toiletries to the new date as a donation to Lunch Break.
