What drove you to seek public office?
After moving to Shrewsbury in 2021, I quickly came to appreciate the strength and spirit of our community. Over the past five years, as I’ve gotten to know my neighbors and become involved in our town life, I’ve developed a strong desire to give back and help shape the future of our community.

Recently, I was honored to be appointed to fill a vacancy on the Borough Council — an experience that deepened my appreciation for the dedicated people who make Shrewsbury run. As a member of Council, I’ve seen both the challenges and the potential our town holds, and I know that through thoughtful, collaborative leadership, we can make Shrewsbury an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?
I believe that what sets me apart is my deep commitment to listening, learning, and leading with integrity — supported by a professional background that has prepared me to serve our community effectively. In my career in the insurance industry, I’ve spent years helping large employers make informed decisions, manage risk, and find solutions to address complex issues. That experience has taught me the importance of clear communication, accountability, and careful planning — values I bring to serving on Council.

Also, I have taken the time to understand our town’s strengths and challenges from the ground up. I believe in practical, community-focused solutions and in fostering collaboration. I’m running for re-election out of a genuine desire to make a difference and to ensure that every resident feels heard, supported, and represented in the decisions that shape our town’s future.

What are past accomplishments or experiences that make you qualified for this position?
My qualifications come from a combination of professional success and active community engagement. In my career in the insurance industry, I’ve consistently been recognized as a top performer, which reflects my dedication, problem-solving skills, and commitment to helping clients make informed, responsible decisions. This experience has strengthened my ability to manage complex issues, communicate clearly, and find practical solutions — all qualities essential for effective public service.

Beyond my professional background, I’ve dedicated significant time to volunteerism, particularly within the veteran community. Supporting those who have served our country has been a deeply meaningful part of my life, and it’s given me firsthand experience in organizing, collaborating, and building connections that make a real difference. I’ve also had the privilege of working with local volunteer organizations like Foundation for Shrewsbury Education, where I’ve seen the power of teamwork and community spirit translate into positive results for our students.

Together, these experiences have prepared me to continue to serve Shrewsbury with integrity, compassion, and a focus on achieving results that benefit our residents.

If re-elected, what will be your top priorities in your new role?
My top priority will be to continue the Borough’s work protecting taxpayers through smart municipal spending and budgeting. Strengthening the connection between Borough government and our residents is also a top priority. I want every member of our community to feel heard, respected, and confident that their concerns matter.

I’m also committed to supporting smart, responsible growth that preserves what makes Shrewsbury special while planning for its future needs. That includes maintaining high-quality public services, supporting local businesses, and ensuring that development is balanced with sustainability and infrastructure improvements.

Finally, I’ll continue to champion community involvement — encouraging volunteerism, supporting our first responders, and collaborating with local organizations like FSE that already make such a positive impact in Shrewsbury. By working together, we can build a stronger, more connected Shrewsbury that reflects the values and aspirations of everyone who calls it home.

Name one thing about Shrewsbury Borough that always makes you smile.
What always makes me smile about Shrewsbury Borough is the sense of community —kids walking or riding their bikes to school, neighbors catching up over breakfast at Bagelmasters, or families gathering for our annual tree and menorah lightings.

There’s a genuine kindness and connection that makes me proud to call Shrewsbury home. That small-town spirit — people looking out for one another and taking pride in where we live — is exactly what inspires me to continue serving on our Council.
