Where to Vote in Red Bank, Shrewsbury

A list of polling places for Tuesday's special U.S. Senate primary election.

Tuesday's the day that Red Bank and Shrewsbury residents can vote in the special primary election for U.S. Senate.

Two Republican and four Democratic candidates are vying to fill the unexpired term of Senator Frank Lautenberg, who died in June.

The Republican candidates pitted against one another are: Alieta Eck and Steven M. Lonegan. Democrats running to win the party's place on the ballot for Lautenberg's seat are: Cory Booker, Sheila Y. Oliver, Frank Pallone, Jr. and Rush Holt.

Here's a list of where to vote from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Red Bank-Shrewsbury area:

Districts 2 and 7: Independent Firehouse, 32 Mechanic St.

Districts 3 and 4: United Methodist Church, rear entrance, 247 Broad St.

District 5: Trinity Episcopal Church, side entrance, 65 W. Front St.

District 6: Calvary Baptist Church, 23 River St.

District 8: Red Bank Senior Center, 80 Shrewsbury Ave.

District 9: Red Bank Housing Authority, 52 Evergreen Terrace.
