7-Year-Old from Bergen County Dies After Table Collapses at School
The superintendent said he did not know what caused the table to fall.

A 7-year-old Bergen County boy died Wednesday after a folding table collapsed and hit him, according to police.
The incident happened at New Milford’s Berkley Street Elementary School, where Brenden Jordan, a Gibbs Elementary School student, was at a New Milford Recreation Commission soccer program, NorthJersey.com reported.
New Milford’s Superintendent told NorthJersey.com he did not know how the table fell - whether someone pulled on it or if it just collapsed on its own.
