Authorities Connect Glen Rock Robbery Suspect to Connecticut Robberies

According to authorities, the woman struck in Connecticut on Jan. 30, Glen Rock on Feb. 18 and Connecticut again on Feb. 24.

Authorities say the woman who robbed a Glen Rock bank at gun point last month first held up a bank in Connecticut on Jan. 30 and then struck again in the state on Feb. 24.

The woman, whose name has not be released, took several thousands of dollars from The Greenwich Bank & Trust Co. around noon on Jan. 30 before striking in Glen Rock almost three weeks later.

Greenwich Police described the woman as ”a white female, approximately 40 years old; short, weighing about 100 pounds, with dark hair in a pixie cut, wearing sunglasses and a dark peacoat.”

After robbing the Glen Rock Savings Bank at gunpoint on Feb. 18 and taking at least $112,000 while wearing a red wig, the woman struck again - this time in Darien, CT.

The woman entered Chase Bank around 4 p.m. on Feb. 24 and took and undisclosed amount of money, according to Patch.

Greenwich authorities said last week they had been working closely with New Jersey and Darien authorities to determine if all three robberies were connected.

The latest update came Thursday when the FBI arrested the suspect, who is from White Plains, NY, in Atlantic City, according to Cliffview Pilot.
