Award-Winning Chef To Open New BBQ Restaurant In Ridgewood
Chef Robert Cho is soft-launching Fatcho Shack later this month in Ridgewood.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Seeing that Ridgewood is one of the greatest food towns in Bergen County, award-winning chef Robert Cho started looking for a space to put a new barbecue restaurant, and after searching for many years, he is now soft-launching Fatcho Shack at 2 Godwin Avenue.
Cho, the six-year owner of Kimchi Smoke Barbecue in Westwood, is introducing new and innovative food offerings at the Fatcho Shack from noon to 7 p.m. on Aug. 24 and 25.
"I have done many fundraisers in Ridgewood," Cho told Patch, "and I believe that Fatcho Shack will be a great addition to the food scene here."

Fatcho Shack's menu, he said, will feature classics like brisket, pork shoulder, and pastrami.
"Fatcho Shack," he said, "is not fusion food. It is not Korean barbecue. It is barbecue."
