GLEN ROCK, NJ — If you want to become the best version of yourself, enroll yourself with this new fitness center in Glen Rock, the owner said in a news release.
RISE Training and Nutrition, a boutique workout studio that offers group and personal fitness sessions and nutritional counseling, held a grand-opening event attended by borough officials and members of the public on Saturday.
“It has been an 18-year dream of mine to open my own fitness studio," studio owner Darlene Bellarmino said in a statement. "I couldn’t be more excited to join the thriving business community here in Glen Rock."

She added that the fitness enthusiasts at RISE are committed to "looking and feeling better about themselves," and supporting each other on their fitness journeys.
Mayor Kristine Morieko said the fact that RISE opened in Glen Rock was "fantastic, if not serendipitous," as the borough has been devoted to public health and wellness coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic ("and into the endemic").
