Bee Stings Leave Man Unconscious, Hospitalized: Ridgewood Police
A 20-year-old man was rendered unconscious after being stung multiple times by bees near the Stop & Shop in Ridgewood, police said.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A 20-year-old man was rendered unconscious in a case of multiple bee stings Wednesday morning in the area of the Stop & Shop on Franklin Avenue in Ridgewood, Police Chief Jacqueline Luthcke said.
Officers were dispatched around 10:40 a.m. to the call and found the man unconscious but breathing, Luthcke said.
He was administered a jolt of epinephrine and began to regain consciousness. He was then taken to an area hospital for treatment, police said.
