Bergen County Man Sexually Assaulted Child Under 13: Prosecutors

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Fairview man was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, prosecutors said.

Servolo M. Morales De La Roca was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, said Bergen County prosecutors.

Prosecutors said that this past Friday, their Special Victims Unit was contacted by the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanancy regarding then alleged sexual assault of a juvenile that had occurred in the past.

An investigation determined that De La Roca had sexually assaulted the child, who was under 13, in Fairview, prosecutors said.

He was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
