Man Struck Child 'Repeatedly' In Bergen County, Prosecutor Says
A man was arrested Tuesday for repeatedly striking a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

HACKENSACK, NJ — A man was arrested Tuesday for repeatedly striking a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
Elijah E. Holder, 34, of Hackensack was charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child, prosecutors said
Prosecutors said that on Tuesday, the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged assault of a juvenile.

Investigators determined that Holder "physically assaulted the juvenile by repeatedly striking the victim" in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
On Wednesday, Holder was arrested in Bergenfield. He was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court
in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
