Bergen County Rain Totals: Which Towns Got The Most During Thunderstorms?
After trees landed on houses in Bergen County during Saturday's storms, the NWS released rain totals.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — After powerful thunderstorms toppled trees and tore down wires in Bergen County on Saturday, the National Weather Service relased rain totals for North Jersey towns.
According to spotters, here are the total rain amounts received, as of noon on Sunday:
- Tenafly (Bergen County): 1.08 inches
- South Kearny: 1.27 inches
- West Newark: 1.22 inches
- Harrison: 1.29 inches
- Hoboken: 1.29 inches
- Southwest Hoboken: 1.27 inches
- Northeast Jersey City: 1.13 inches
- Southwest Jersey City: 1.01 inches
The rest of the week is expected to be sunny in Bergen County, with highs in the low to mid 70s.
