Bergen County Teen Charged After Police Catch Him 'Prowling' In Glen Rock: Cops
Police charged a Bergen County teen with possession of stolen goods last week, they said.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — A New Milford teen was charged with receiving stolen property last Wednesday, weeks after police caught him "prowling around homes" in one neighborhood, police said.
Police said that back on Nov. 18, Police Officer Nick Onove confronted Gabriel A. Guedez, 18, of New Milford and another man when he saw them "prowling around homes in the area of Cornwall Road and Gibson Place."
The officer"recovered additional property during the arrest which was subsequently confirmed as having been stolen from inside an area resident’s vehicle," police said.

Guedez was taken into custody last week by Det. Lucas Doney and Officer Adam Pyatak and processed at Glen Rock Police Headquarters.
He was then taken to the Bergen County Jail to await an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at Superior Court in Hackensack, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — A Glen Rock resident told police that someone tried to transfer more than $100,000 out of their bank account, and into an account in another bank, police said.
The person contacted police around 12:45 p.m. last Thursday to say that when they found out about the transfer, they were able to contact the bank to stop it from going through.
The Detective Bureau will conduct a follow-up investigation to try to identify the suspect, they said.
