Bergen Web Designer Had 1,000 Child Porn Files: Prosecutor

A Bergen County man with more than 1,000 child pornography files was arrested Friday after an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
William Gallagher, 30, of Dumont was charged with distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography, said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo.
The prosecutor's office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at Gallagher's home, Calo said. The search was part of a monthslong internet child pornography investigation.

Gallagher used the interview to distribute 415 files depicting nude or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children, Calo said. Gallagher also had 1,000 digital files he viewed and got from the internet, he said.
Gallagher's first court appearance is scheduled for the morning of April 24.

The Dumont Police Department assisted the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office with its investigation.
