'Best Schools' List Includes Glen Rock, Ridgewood

GLEN ROCK/RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Several area schools made the cut for a new round-up of 2020's "Best Schools in New Jersey.

Niche.com's latest list has the top 300 elementary, middle and high schools in New Jersey. Researchers included private and public schools.

Here are the Glen Rock schools on the list:

• Glen Rock High School
• Glen Rock Middle School
• Richard E. Byrd School
• The Central School

Here are the Ridgewood schools on the list:

• Ridgewood High School
• Hawes Elementary School
• Orchard Elementary School
• Ridge Elementary School
• Travell Elementary School
• Somerville Elementary School
• George Washington Middle School
• Willard Elementary School
• Benjamin Franklin Middle School

Niche.com, which specializes in all different types of rankings, including schools, has created a new list that is a bit different than the usual lists the company is known for. In this one, Niche has included both Public and Private Schools.

That may not sound different than Niche's usual rankings but this list includes both private and public schools and also includes elementary, middle and high schools all in the same list. Please note that this is not a ranking, but a search list, where you can see and compare all schools grouped together, organized by Overall Grade.
