Birdwatching soared during the pandemic, experts say. Here are three upcoming birding events in North Jersey.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The pastime of bird watching became more popular during the pandemic when people needed a safe activity they could do in local parks or in their own backyards.
Several groups in New Jersey run birdwatching activities, including the Bergen Audubon Society.
They run two walks a month in partnership with the NJ Meadowlands Commission.
