Bergen County Polls Open After Bomb Threats
Bergen County officials are investigating bomb threats received on Election Day, "meant to disrupt the democratic process," they said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A bomb threat prompted a brief poll closure in Bergen County, but all voting locations have been cleared by law enforcement, officials said Tuesday.
"All polling locations across the county are safe and open following a series of fraudulent bomb threats made earlier today," said a county spokesperson. "Law enforcement responded swiftly, thoroughly checking each location and confirming that no suspicious items or credible threats were found."
Such threats have been reported around the Garden State Tuesday.
