Branch Of Major Bank To Close In Bergen County: Report
A major bank has announced 13 closings around New Jersey, including one in Bergen County.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — TD Bank, which announced the closings of 38 branches around the country in the last two years, announced 51 additional closings last week — including one in Bergen County.

The bank had been downsizing in order to reduce its footprint and increase profits, reports said.

TD Bank, which stands for Toronto-Dominion Bank, was the result of a merger in 1955 between the Bank of Toronto and the Dominion Bank.
Fast Company reported last week that branches will close in 13 states in early 2026— including eight in New Jersey, one of which is in Bergen County.

A location in Ramsey will close, the publication reported.
The address is at 1100 Lake St., according to the report.
