RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A man, who police believe is part of a large-scale burglary crew of Chilean nationals, was accused of committing a burglary in Rochelle Park and Ridgewood, Rochelle Park police Lt. James DePreta said.

Victor Ramirez-Trincoso, who arrived in the U.S. from Chile on Sunday, was found on the second floor of a Peek Street home in Rochelle Park on Thursday with jewelry and watches lying next to him, DePreta said.

Ramirez-Trincoso, 40, was first spotted by the resident on an indoor security camera wearing gloves and a mask, and wielding a flashlight. Officers responding to a call from the resident arrived to find a broken rear window, and the suspect inside the home, police said.
