The Cookie Connect Opening In Ridgewood Friday

RIDGEWOOD, NJ —Cookie lovers rejoice, a new bakery just for you is opening Friday.

The Cookie Connect makes huge cookies filled with Nutella hazelnut spread, Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereals, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

The bakery will open at 46 Chestnut St. at 3 p.m. It will be open until 2 a.m. Saturday. If you can't make it to the grand opening, don't worry, The Cookie Connect delivers their fresh-baked cookies warm.

The bakery will also have a make-your-own soft-serve ice cream bar, milkshakes, and cookies' perfect companion: Milk.

The bakery will feature indoor seating and the first augmented reality art wall on the East Coast, according The Cookie Connect.

Cookie varieties include:

• Fruity-Pebbz: A Fruity Pebble-infused cookie with white chocolate chips, topped with Fruity Pebbles and vanilla icing
• Apple pie: A cinnamon-infused Snickerdoodle cookie stuffed with apple pie filling and drizzled with caramel
• Cinnamon roll: A cinnamon-infused Snickerdoodle cookie with white chocolate chips and topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and vanilla drizzle
• Fluffatella s'mores: A chocolate chip cookie stuffed with Nutella and marshmallow fluff and drizzled with chocolate
• Nutella-stuffed chocolate chip

Ali Jajihaidari started The Cookie Connect with an app in 2016 and it took off. The company already has a bakery in Bloomfield.

"Some of my fondest memories growing up are in the kitchen around Christmas time baking Christmas cookies with my mom, which is where my love for cookies originated," Jajihaidari told the Food Network on an episode of "Bakers Vs. Fakers."
