GLEN ROCK, NJ — A Ridgewood man demanded coffee from a Glen Rock restaurant last week and then refused to leave, police said.

The Glen Rock police said that last Wednesday, around 4:53 p.m., they were called to a restaurant on Prospect Street to assist with a man "causing a disturbance."

Police were told that a 58-year-old man from Ridgewood was demanding a cup of takeout coffee "which the business does not provide."

He began arguing with the business owner as a result, police said.

Police told the man to leave the restaurant and not return, police said.
