Dog Costume Parade To Be Held In Bergen County Town On Sunday

Furry family members will get to be part of Ridgewood's Daffodil Festvail and Earth Day fair this weekend.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Ridgewood's traditional Daffodil Festival for Earth Day will include a special tradition for dogs.

"Leashed dogs and their owners are invited to dress in costume and join the popular Daffy Dog Parade at 12:30 p.m.," noted organizers.

Registration for the dog costume parade begins at noon at the Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital booth.

Besides that, attendees will get to enjoy free live music, educational displays and programs, a petting zoo, demonstrations, crafts, and vendors
specializing in sustainability and natural products and services.

The event will take place at Memorial Park at Van Neste Square on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Village of Ridgewood Department of Parks and Recreation, Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands, and Green Ridgewood.
