Earth Day Coming to Ridgewood in April

Event will feature science projects, nifty cars, animals, music and more on April 20.

The annual Earth Day event will feature some of the most environmentally-innovative cars on the road, according to Ridgewood Councilwoman Bernadette Walsh.

Held April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Van Neste Square, the event features small exhibits by environmentalists, landscapers, business owners, scientists, municipal officials, students, wildlife owners, and others. There will be music and games for kids.

An electrically-charged Tesla Motors vehicle and energy-efficient Fords will be at the park, Walsh said.
