Erratic Driver In Bergen County Had Heroin In Car, Police Say
A resident called police about an erratic driver in Bergen County. It turned out he had heroin in his car, police said.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Police in Glen Rock who responded to a resident's report of an erratic driver last Friday found that the driver had drugs with him, police said.
Police said that just before 11 p.m., Officer Nick Onove was dispatched to investigate a report of an erratic driver on Lincoln Avenue in the area of Wellesley Road.
The officer found the car parked on Wellesley Road and saw a man slumped inside, with drug paraphernalia on his lap, police said.

The officer then found that the person was in possession of five bundles (50 wax baggies) of heroin.
Luis R. Cruz Valenzuela, 31, of Spring Valley, N.Y., was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and possession of narcotics paraphernalia, police said.

He also received a motor vehicle summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
He was taken to Glen Rock Police Headquarters, processed, and released on his own recognizance, police said. He now awaits an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at Superior Court in Hackensack.
