Flood Watch Issued For Bergen County With Heavy Downpour, Thunderstorms Predicted: See Map

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Bergen County for Monday afternoon and evening, along with Essex, Hudson, Passaic, and Union counties.
The watch extends from 2 p.m. Monday to 12 a.m. Tuesday.
Forecasters say up to 1.25 inches of rain may fall from afternoon through evening.

The National Weather Service says:
"Excessive runoff may result in flooding of urban and poor drainage areas as well as quick responding small rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations."
