Friday: RHS Pole Vaulter Sets County Record
Kayla Polcari set a new county record with a 12-3 vault at the Varsity Classic; district intends to form legislative exploratory committee.

1) Superintendent of Schools Dr. Daniel Fishbein announced that the school board will be forming a new committee to explore legislative matters of interest to the Board and community.
Board president Michle Lenhard and longtime member Sheila Brogan (who updates the board of national, state and county legislative happenings). The first meeting will be likely in March or April, Fishbein said.
2) After a few fantastic nights, on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. at BF Middle School. Councilman Paul Aronsohn missed some er...interesting remarks at the Wednesday council meeting to sign, dance and be happily foolish for the 65th year of Jamboree.

3) Ridgewood High School's Kayla Polcari won the girls pole vault with a Bergen County record 12-3 at the Winter Track Varsity Classic.
4) It's Lincoln's Birthday and the village is observing it so don't expect any sanitation or recycling to be taken away on Friday. Village Hall will also be closed.

5) Friday should be mostly sunny, with a high near 30. A calm wind blowing west should be between 5 and 8 mph.
