Local foundation holds first annual Dog Show at Ridgewood High School
Holding the first of potentially many, the Ridgewood Education Foundation successfully kicked of its inaugural Dog Show at the Ridgewood High School parking lot yesterday. Residents, local businesses and dog enthusiasts cavorted at the event, held on an immaculate spring afternoon.
The foundation took online donations to benefit Ridgewood school, and the dog—and owner—who raised the most money was crowned the show's winner. Monster—and owner Jamie Shirley—took the prize this year.
REF President Liz Gordon credited Vicky Herbert and Karen Mabli for organizing a great show. Sponsors TD Bank, Ridgewood Party Supply and the Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital also made the event possible.
