Glen Rock Biz Named One of Country’s Fastest Growing

Balance Point Payroll, founded in 2003 and based in Glen Rock, has been taking off in the few years, according to stats compiled by business magazine Inc.

The publication recently named Balance Point in its 2013 list of the top 5,000 fastest growing American companies, a ranking based on revenue growth in privately held businesses since 2009.

The company, which manages payroll and human resources for New York and New Jersey companies, now has 54 employees, and has added 33 jobs over the last three years.

Since 2009 it has seen an 84 percent increase in revenue, raking in $6.8 million in 2012.

Those numbers earned the borough company the No. 119 spot among New Jersey companies, and a rank of 3,581 nationwide.
