Glen Rock Council President Running For Mayor
Democrat Kristine Morieko has her "sights on the office" of mayor.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — The sitting council president is running for mayor in this year's municipal election.
Democrat Kristine Morieko has her "sights on the office" of mayor, the Glen Rock Democratic Organization said in a news release recently.
"I look forward to a campaign about ideas on how we all, together, can set a course to make Glen Rock the exceptional community we all know and love," Morieko said.

Morieko is a two-term council president. She chairs the borough's Division of Public Safety and is a member of the Planning Board.
Running with Kristine Morieko are Rob Dill and Teresa Gilbreath. They are vying for the two council seats up for grabs in this year's general election in November.

Gilbreath and Dill are running against Republicans Michelle Teresa Torpey and Eric Schlett for the two council seats up for grabs in November.
Mayor Bruce Packer announced in February he would not run for re-election.
