Glen Rock Not Holding Formal 9/11 Ceremony This Year
Agree with borough "empowering the citizens" to "observe a more personal commemorative experience?"

The Borough of Glen Rock for the first time since the attacks of September 11th, 2001 will not be holding a formal anniversary remembrance ceremony.
Glen Rock Assistance Council & Endowment trustee Jon Cole told the Glen Rock Gazette that the infamous day's losses were "tangible" and "personal."
"For this reason we strive each year to avoid repetitive institutionalization of our commemoration," he told the paper, later saying, "This year the trustees begin a transition toward empowering you, the citizens of town, to observe a more personal commemorative experience. You will see when you visit the memorial site that day that we have not left the story untold, lest the lessons be forgotten."
