Glen Rock PD Goes Pink To Raise Breast Cancer Awareness
Officers will wear pink hats this month to show their support for breast cancer awareness.
GLEN ROCK, NJ - Glen Rock police officers will once again don pink hats during the month of October to support breast cancer awareness.
The campaign, which is sponsored by the department and Glen Rock PBA Local 110, seeks to raise funds to support cancer research, education and prevention, as well as raise awareness about the importance of early detection, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said.
Members of the public can also purchase pink supporter hats to support the cause.

The hats will be on sale at Glen Rock's "Coffee With A Cop" event on Saturday at the Main Train Station Lot. The program will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
