Gold Medal For NJ Natives, Team USA In Paralympic Sled Hockey
It's a second gold medal for Jack Wallace, a Bergen County native, and his fellow Garden State teammates on Team USA.

BEIJING — For the fourth consecutive Paralympics, Team USA won gold in men's sled hockey. It's a second gold for Jack Wallace, a Bergen County native, and his fellow Garden State teammates.
The Americans shut out Canada 5-0 in the gold medal match, which ended early Sunday morning in the U.S.
Wallace, 23, plays defense for the U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey team. He and his team won a gold medal in the PyeongChang Winter Games four years ago. The team has also won gold at world championships in 2019 and 2021.

According to his Team USA page, Wallace was born in Ridgewood, graduated from Indian Hills High School in Oakland, and lives in Franklin Hills. Declan Farmer and Josh Pauls, two other New Jersey natives, are also on the national team as My Central Jersey reports.
Farmer had two goals and an assist in the gold medal match. He is a graduate of Princeton University. Team captain Josh Pauls is from Green Brook.
