Goodwill Outlet Store Coming To South Hackensack
Goodwill of Greater NY and Northern NJ plans to open an outlet store in a newly-built South Hackensack warehouse.

SOUTH HACKENSACK, NJ – Goodwill of Greater NY and Northern NJ plans to open an outlet store in a newly-built South Hackensack warehouse.
The non-profit recently signed a deal to lease a 125,500-square-foot, single story building at 400 Huyler Street, according to Cushman & Wakefield, the firm that handled the deal.
As Goodwill of Greater NY and Northern NJ’s main operations facility, it will also operate the organization’s ecommerce division and sort goods for recycling. Donations of items will also be accepted here.

According to Charles Fern, a broker with Cushman & Wakefield, the new location is replacing a smaller warehouse Goodwill has in New York.
“This highly respected nonprofit, which has been serving our regional community for more than 100 years, needed a special building – one close to New York, offering highway visibility and providing a mix of warehouse and office space with the ability to accommodate an outlet store,” Fern said. “400 Huyler Street checked every box for Goodwill NYNJ, including 40-foot clear ceilings and 12,000 square feet of mezzanine offices – as well as an established, responsive landlord.”

Nearly 1 million individual donations received by Goodwill NYNJ in 2018 funded coaching, placement and retention services for 30,000 people.
