Hackensack Massage Parlor Closed After Prostitution Charges

A massage parlor in Hackensack was shut down after police say employees were offering to perform sexual acts for money.

HACKENSACK, NJ – A massage parlor in Hackensack was shut down after an undercover police officer found employees were offering to perform sexual acts for money, authorities said.

After receiving an anonymous complaint about the Healing Hand Spa at 139 Main Street, an undercover detective was sent to the business on Jan. 17, posing as a customer, Police Capt. Darrin DeWitt said.

The officer “was greeted by a hostess who took the detective to the masseuse, Huaihui Li. Li then offered to perform sexual acts for money,” DeWitt said.

Following the investigation, the hostess and Li were arrested and the parlor was closed by the city’s health department for violating the provisions of its license, the captain said.

Li, a 40-year-old from Bayside, NY, was charged with prostitution and released on a summons and a court date.
